Akhir-akhir ini dunia heboh sama angka 2012 atau lebih tepatnya tahun 2012. Kita pasti pernah mendengar mengenai ramalan kiamat yang kemungkinan terjadi tahun 2012 tepatnya tanggal 21-12-2012. Banyak orang yang percaya tapi banyak juga orang yang tidak percaya. Tapi kedua kelompok itu, baik yang percaya atau tidak tetap mempunyai satu kesamaan yaitu penasaran akan apa yang terjadi ditahun 2012.
Ramalan kiamat tahun 2012 sendiri yang paling terkenal adalah ramalan dari kalender suku Maya, yang menyatakan bahwa tahun 2012 akan menjadi era baru dalam kehidupan manusia. Selama ini sistem penanggalan suku Maya terkenal karena tingkat keakuratannya dan sistem penanggalan itu mempunyai hari terakhir 1.3.0.0.0.0 yang menurut penanggalan gregorian itu adalah tepat tanggal 21 Desember 2012. Karena itu banyak para ahli yang meramal bahwa pada tahun 2012 akan menjadi akhir dari sejarah manusia seperti seleksi alam yang menimbulkan bencana besar-besaran di dunia, sehingga muncullah dugaan kiamat.
Selain ramalan suku Maya, beberapa ramalan lain seperti kitab kuno China, yaitu I Ching juga memprediksi hal yang sama. dimana tahun 2012 akan jadi siklus yang menutup kehidupan bumi. Selain ramalan-ramalan kuno, yang modern pun seolah tidak mau ketinggalan, badan antariksa Amerika (NASA) juga memprediksi kalau di tahun 2012 akan terjadi badai matahari, dimana akan terjadi ledakan dasyat di atmosfer matahari (yang kekuatannya puluhan juta kali dari ledakan bom atom Hiroshima/Nagasaki) dan akibat dari itu panas bumi akan mencapai 30% dari kondisi normal, dan manusia pun tidak bisa keluar rumah tanpa mengenakan pakaian pelindung anti radiasi.
Tampaknya semua ramalan-ramalan itu sangat menakutkan, tapi balik lagi itu hanya ramalan, sesuatu yang belum pasti dan belum terjadi. Bahkan dua dukun keturunan suku Maya sendiri (Carlos & Gerardo Barrios) menyatakan dugaan kiamat itu terlalu dibesar-besarkan, mereka bilang dunia tidak akan berakhir tapi dunia akan mengalami transformasi besar-besaran. 2. Bumi berhenti berputar (hmmmm)
3. Peralihan dari zaman Pisces ke Aquarius. Jaman Pisces penuh persaingan, pertentangan, peperangan dan pemenuhan kepentingan diri sendiri. Zaman Aquarius lebih ke sisi spiritualitas dan pembelajaran (that's not bad)
4. Peralihan dari abad silver ke abad keemasan (ngga ngerti yang ini)
5. Adanya sebuah gelombang galaxy besar yang menghentikan seluruh aktivitas di bumi (woaaa, the time will stop ?)
5. Perubahan dari dimensi ketiga ke dimensi keempat bahkan kelima (ngga ngerti juga maksudnya)
6. Meningkatnya DNA manusia dari strain 2 ke 12 sehingga manusia bisa menggunakan telepati bahkan telekinesis ( itu lho kemampuan indigo, keren nih kalau beneran kejadian, persis film science fiction 
)
7. Waktu sudah tak berlaku, tidak lagi linier, bisa berubah-ubah karena telah ditemukan mesin waktu (maksudnya sejenis butterfly effect 
)
8. Manusia sudah bisa melakukan perjalanan ke galaxi lain melalui stargate (kok mirip film science fiction)
9. First contact pertama kalinya manusia dengan Alien/UFO (asal aliennya jangan kayak di film Sirgourney Weaver aja, seremm)
10. Bergabungnya manusia dengan komunitas antar galaxi/planet (maksudnya yang seperti di film Star Trek dan Star Wars gitu )
Lama-lama beneran kayak nulis science fiction, tapi ingat kembali, ngga ada manusia yang bisa memastikan apa yang terjadi di tahun 2012, manusia bisa menebak, berspekulasi, berencana tapi manusia tidak bisa menetapkan kejadian yang belum terjadi. Bisa juga tahun 2012 baik-baik saja, hanya Tuhan yang tau. Tapi satu hal yang aku percaya, kalau bumi semakin rusak dan suatu hari berpotensi untuk menimbulkan efek dasyat, itu mungkin benar. Seperti lagunya Michael Jackson "Earth Song". :)

Mungkin banyak yang berpikir kalau novel roman adalah bacaan ringan yang ngga penting, yang hanya sekedar bacaan untuk mengisi waktu luang, terlepas dari stereotip novel roman hanya bacaan dangkal, menjual mimpi dan tidak berbobot yang cuman berkedok romantisme, tapi gw sering merasa tersentuh saat membaca novel roman, walaupun rata-rata novel roman mempunyai inti cerita yang sama, tapi ada beberapa pesan yang bagus tentang cinta, seperti :
1. Cinta tidak mengenal logika seperti saat bisa mencintai seseorang tanpa syarat
2. Cinta dapat mengubah seseorang menjadi lebih baik
3. Cinta tidak harus memiliki
4. Cinta bisa menerima semua kelemahan seseorang
Hehehe, udah ah, gw lebay jadinya. BTW, memang ngga semua novel roman bagus, ada yang standar dan cenderung membosankan, tapi ada yang bener-benar bagus dan menggugah emosi bahkan menginspirasi saat membacanya. Berikut ini daftar top 500 novel roman.

Lihat kolam renang-kolam renang di beberapa hotel berbintang di bawah ini, bikin mupeng banget ngeliatnya, buat yang suka renang dan ada duit lebih untuk traveling, boleh di rekomendasi :

9. Golden Nugget Las Vegas . Yes that is a 200,000 gallon shark tank in the middle.

Beberapa orang sangat kreatif dalam menciptakan ide termasuk soal restoran, beberapa restoran dibawah ini adalah restoran unik atau mungkin aneh yang pernah ada di dunia :
1. Cannibalistic Restaurant ( JAPAN )
"Nyotaimori" (artinya "female body plate") adalah salah satu nama restaurant di jepang yang menyajikan sushi dah sashimi di tubuh mayat wanita. Tubuh mayat ini terbuat dari makanan dan diletakkan di meja operasi seperti di rumah sakit. Pengunjung bisa memakan bagian tubuh mana saja. Tubuh yang dipotong akan mengeluarkan darah, persis seperti potongan tubuh manusia. Restaurant seperti ini mmg cocok buat manusia kanibal seperti Sumanto
Opini saya : Biarpun keliahatan menarik, tapi saya ngga mau makan di resto ini, cukup untuk dilihat saja
2. Toilet Restaurant ( TAIWAN )
Marton Theme Restaurant, di Kaohsiung ( Taiwan ) menyediakan nuansa TOILET bagi pelanggannya. Dekorasi ruangan, kursi dan tempat makan yg digunakan persis seperti di toilet. Meja dibuat seperti bathtub, dan makanan yg disediakan diletakkan di piring dan mangkuk yg didesain seperti toilet duduk. Makanan yg disajikan di sini tidak hanya enak, tapi juga memberikan sensasi sendiri bagi pengunjungnya.
Opini Saya : Bukan masalah makanannya enak atau tidak, tapi saya cuma khawatir, saya bakal nggak ada nafsu makan melihat makanan dihidangakan di toilet.
3. Restaurant in the Sky ( BELGIUM )
"Dinner in the Sky" adalah salah satu restoran di Brussels yang menyediakan tempat makan untuk 22 orang... tentu saja di ketinggian 150 kaki!!! Tempat makan di desain khusus untuk bisa diangkat menggunakan crane. Pengunjung bebas menentukan lokasi ketinggian yg diminati, asal jangan sampai menjatuhkan garpu dah pisau...
Opini saya : Kalau yang ini saya mau deh, cuma was-was aja gimana kalo sendok atau garpu saya jatuh, bakal kena orang ngga yah ?
4. Dark Restaurant ( CHINA )
Restoran kegelapan (punya Dark Knight maybe ) terletak di Beijing China . Semua desain restoran benar2 berwarna hitam. Pengunjung yang datang akan di antar oleh pelayan yg sudah dilengkapi dengan teropong malam ke meja makan. Senter, HP, arloji dilarang di area ini. Karena tidak bisa melihat makanan yg disantap, pengunjung benar2 merasakan makanan yg tidak pernah dimakan sebelumnya di restoran ini...
Opini saya : Nggak masalah, yang penting pas datang saya pakai kacamata inframerah aja(kan ngga ada pelarangan inframerah) 
5. Restaurant Kuburan ( INDIA )
Restoran yang terletak di Ahmadabad India ini terkenal dengan menu teh susu, roti gulung dan kuburan di antara meja. Pemilik restoran mengaku telah membuka restoran ini turun temurun selama 4 dekade, tapi tidak tahu siapa jenazah yg terkubur di bawah kuburan ini
Opini saya : No Comment !!
6. Restaurant di Penjara ( ITALY )
Restoran ini terletak di tempat paling paling aman, yaitu penjara Fortezza Medicea di Italy. Dekorasi restoran ini adalah penjara tempat pembunuhan yang dilengkapi dengan tembok setinggi 60kaki, menara pengawas, security kamera yang telah beroperasi selama 500 tahun. Selain itu, tempat ini dilengkapi juga dengan penjaga penjara dengan senjata lengkap
Opini saya : Biasa aja ah, kan bukan penjara beneran ini.
7. Restaurant Robot ( CHINA )
Kenapa dinamakan robot? karena restoran ini buka sepanjang hari selama 21 jam tanpa mengenal lelah. Pengelola restoran juga sekilas terlihat sama, namun ini adalah pasangan suami istri kembar identik! Orang2 sekitar menyebutnya "robot couple restaurant" karena mereka melihat orang yg sama bekerja seperti robot dalam menjalankan restoran dari jam 5 pagi sampai jam 3 dini hari. Makanya dinamakan robot
Opini saya : Gile aja, apa ngga capek ?! Kok bisa yah ? Workaholic is not good for ur body.
8. Restaurant bawah laut ( MALDIVES )
Restoran bawah laut pertama diperkenalkan di Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa, April 2007. Restoran bernama Ithaa (baca "eet-ha", artinya "pearl" dalam bahasa Maldives , Dhivehi) berada 5 meter di bawah Samudra Hindia yang dikelilingi oleh coral dan panorama bawah laut. Ini adalah restoran pertama untuk kategori bawah laut.
Opini saya: Sip, saya suka restoran ini, kita juga harusnya ada yang kayak gini
9. Condom Restaurant ( THAILAND )
"Cabbages and Condoms" adalah nama restaurant di Thailand. Ada banyak kondom di dinding2 dan lukisan kondom di karpet. Setelah makan, pengunjung akan diberi kondom di meja kasir
tapi pelayannya nggak cocok tuh pakenya.
10. Medical Restaurant ( TAIPEI )
D.S. Music Restaurant di Taipei , Taiwan adalah restoran dengan nuansa medis . Dekorasi ruangan seperti rumah sakit, pelayannya berpakaian seperti perawat, dan botol minumnya juga dikemas dalam botol infus
