My favourite quote: "Nothing should be about race. We have corrupt Malay leaders, we have corrupt Chinese leaders, we have corrupt Sarawakense leaders. If you corrupt, you corrupt."
I was amazed by her public speaking ability. And her English is sooooo fluent (neglect the accent. Sometimes we just can't help having the accent). She also answered questions very quickly, not to mention her answers are good and systematic. And I can't believe she could sound logical, honest, and polite at the same time.
She's like my role model! I've been admiring her since she defended her father in late 90s. And now she became a rising star in Malaysian politics. I usually don't give a damn about politics and politicians, but she's just too adorable to be ignored. She's truly "something." A very young woman, involving in politics, with great speech, reasonable and logical arguments, and God listen to her English! It's perfect. T__T
I got this video from ANUchannel (a podcast channel of my current university). Nurul Izzah Anwar came to my campus a few days a go. She's a total inspiration for Muslim women. Not only gaining Bachelor of Engineering, she also got her master degree in US (which we all know, the GRE requirement for entering American universities is really difficult), concentrating on international relations.
And still, she's a good wife and a good mother of 2 children. She's also very pretty too! She looks like Dian Sastrowardoyo somehow, but of course she's more beautiful and smarter in many ways. What a perfect inspiration for Muslim women. She makes me feel insignificant. T__T
