TOURISTS aboard a boat in Alaska looked ahead in terror as a huge glacier collapsed into the water ahead of them.

 

This video shows the enormous glacier plunging into the water as the boat passed through Tracy Arm Fjord.

After a number of smaller chunks of ice fell into the water, a larger one crashed down causing a giant wave to surge towards the boat.

Tourists are seen panicking and trying to move to the far end as the captain slammed on the gas.

One tourist fell amid the panic and reportedly broke her leg.
