This is a true story of mine, when i was in Japan with my friends, we planned to tour around japan for one week from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima. We did not use any tour, we just travelled by ourselves with a map and guide book, since Japan is a safe country and has a well-managed mass transportation with its shinkansen. So we think we'll be okay.
So one day, when we arrived in Kyoto. We decided to put our luggages first in Hostel before exploring Kyoto. At the train station, we were kinda confused, because there are a lot of exits. There is south gate and north gate whatever. We don't know which gate is the most closest to the hostel. So we just decided to take one and if it is wrong just turn around and take the other.
Suddenly when we walked to the gate, someone who is an old man, approached us and start asking question with a broken english and difficult to digest what he said., "Are you tourists", "Where are you going?", "can i see the hostel map" etc ...
We of course quite shocked. Admittedly at that time we looked lost, so that's maybe the reason he approached us. He saw that the hostel which we were looking for is near the train station and wanna take us there.
However, we already suspected that this guy only wanted our money by taking us to our hostel, so we just said that we can find it by ourselves and run from him to the wrong gate.
At the wrong gate, the old guy chased us .. hahaha we thought that this guy is so persistent and okay because we don't know the way, we better hire him to take us to hostel.
In fact the old guy is a free tourist guide provided by Kyoto government. He used to be an official in one of departments in Japan Government and he has retired and waste his free time by helping and guiding tourists like us in train station. He showed us his card and we start believing him and even asking him a lot of questions regarding Kyoto.
This experience show me that we are difficult to trust people!. We can't believe when something is too good to be true, it must be something amiss when you have something without paying.
I think this is because we live in country like Indonesia, who has a lot of conned people by pretending to be a good person in fact he/she just wanna steal our money.
When someone approaches us, we start our negative thinking that this person wanna deceive us, consequently we are not able to trust people easily. Whereas maybe he/she does not have any deception and just wanna help us.
We are too pessimistic that there are still a good person out there.
The environment in Indonesia is really not good to learn how to trust people. You even don't know which one is a good person or not, then in the end you will generalize not to trust anyone. Moreover even if you try to trust people easily, you will be mocked as naive and laughed by your friends.
We are really a pathetic country who cannot trust each other !
Sekilas hobi photography gw
Gw emang dari dulu sejak SMP kelas 2 sudah hobi sama foto-foto, trus sekolah gw mewajibkan ikut 1 eskul (pelajaran diluar kelas) jadi gw ikut photography. Sejak ikut eskul gw jadi tukang photography buat acara sekolah.
Why i love photography?
Because it captures every moments, which you see through your eyes. You can look at the moments again and again, you can see the tiny little detail of that moments. If you use ur brain to capture the moment, you will only remember the general not the detail of the moment and you may forget the moments.
Moreover, once you see a photo, it triggers a memory of that photo.
That's why i try to take a picture as many as i can, because i don't want to forget every moments in my life !
Korean wave (hallyu) or korea fever refers to spread of south korea culture around the world.
Gw sendiri sempet tergila-gila sama drama korea yah "dae jang geum or jewel in the palace", wkt itu taon 2007, tapi setelah nonton seri itu sampe tamat ilang dah korea fever gw. hahahaha
Gw pikir ini cewe masi sekolah kali, kan lagi liburan jadi part-time disana.
Trus pas lagi sepi, gw tanya sama cewek itu (gw sering kesana minjem komik jadi lumayan deket jg ama dia, ngobrol-ngobrol soal komik),
Gw: "eh lu ga sekolah apa?"
Dia: "Udah lulus kali gw, gw udah 20 tahun gitu"
Gw: "Trus lo ga coba kuliah? masa disini trus nunggu rental buku?"
Dia: "Bokap gw udah meninggal, trus gw mesti kerja-lah, mana adek gw masi sekolah juga, tapi kalau ada gajinya segede dikasi sama pemilik rental buku ini, mungkin gw mau pindah, capek juga kerja disini dari jam 10 siang sampe 10 malam, trus libur cuman hari minggu" (Curhat dah dia, mukanya agak memelas gitu lagi.. )
Ntah gimana, gw ama dia jadi ngobrol soal korea
Dia: "Gw suka nonton drama korea, trus gw jg ngefans sama DBSK dan JYJ, lo ga tau kan apa itu DBSK sama JYJ"
Gw: "Gw tau kok DBSK apaan, tapi JYJ ga pernah denger" (terus gw dijelasin, skrg DBSK udah pecah jadi 2, DBSK sama JYJ bla bla bla)
Gw:"speechless*"
Gw abis itu balik rumah jadi kepikiran sama percakapan gw sama si penunggu rental buku itu. Padahal butuh duit tapi masi aja beli barang-barang yang seperti gitu. Gw heran banget.
Welcome to Indonesia
Welcome to Korea fans community
