Mari kita mulai dengan Gemma Ward...Source : wiki

Ward was born in Perth, Western Australia, as the second child of Gary and Claire Ward. Her older sister, Sophie Ward is also a model and she has younger twin brothers, Oscar and Henry Ward. She was educated at the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Perth and Shenton College.

As said herself in a Teen Vogue interview, she accompanied her friends to a modelling competition and ended up being scouted herself:

I had come straight from my auntie and uncle's farm, and I was wearing this big gray barn jacket with mud all over it. When the scout came up to me, I said, 'No, thank you.' But my friends were like, 'Hell, yes!' They forged my mum's signature [for mandatory parental consent], and pushed me in front of the cameras.[2]

Ward didn't win the competition, but Vivien's Model Agency picked her up after seeing a small picture of her in [Kurv], a quarterly, internationally focused, Australian produced, Fashion Arts Beauty Culture and Style magazine.

Career

At only sixteen, Ward was the youngest model to be listed by American Vogue as one of the nine "It Girls" in the modeling world. She has been in shows for designers such as Versace, Gucci, Chanel, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, and many more. Ward has also graced magazine covers such as Vogue, W, and TIME Magazine's Style and Design issue. In September 2004, at the age of 16, Ward became the youngest fashion model on the cover of the American edition of Vogue and was the first model to appear on the cover of Teen Vogue magazine. She is the first model since Kate Moss to be the face for Calvin Klein's perfume "Obsession Night for Men" along with Philadelphia male model, Drew Keilt.

To date Ward's clients have included Balenciaga, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermès, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Jil Sander, Karl Lagerfeld, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Rochas, Swarovski, Valentino and Yves Saint-Laurent, and, altogether, Ward has appeared on 32 covers of Vogue magazine worldwide.

British photographer Nick Knight stated, "Gemma is one of the very, very few models who look as though they come from another dimension."[3] Fashion designer Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler told Teen Vogue in February 2006 that, "She looked like no one else at the time. She was this alien, and fashion is always looking for newness." Her look inspired a new generation of baby doll-like models such as Vlada Roslyakova, Heather Marks, and Jessica Stam.[2]

In Allure magazine (October 2006), Ward is described as "the model of the moment." Allure's creative director Paul Cavaco knows why: "We went through a period that was very va-va-voom, but now the pendulum has swung back. Gemma is ethereal, not earthy." Photographer Michael Thompson says, "She's an exotic blonde, the rarest of creatures."[4]

Ward has long aspired to pursue acting and drama is a passion that she has held since she was a child. She has been cast in Australian director Elissa Down's upcoming film The Black Balloon also starring Toni Collette and Rhys Wakefield, as the girlfriend of a boy whose brother has autism. The Black Balloon had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany in February 2008, where it received a Crystal Bear as the best feature-length film in the Generation 14plus category.[5] She was also cast opposite Liv Tyler in the suspense thriller The Strangers as one of the three masked intruders, "Doll Face".[6] She also appeared in the music video for "Daughters" by John Mayer.

Ward appeared on the cover of the first issue of Vogue India; photographed by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier. This is the second time Ward has appeared on an inaugural issue—the first time being the first-ever cover of Vogue China in 2005.

In July 2007, earning at an estimated total of $3 million in the past 12 months, Forbes named her tenth in the list of the World's 15 Top-Earning Supermodels.[7]
Personal life

Ward lives in New York and is close friends with fellow models Lily Donaldson, Caroline Winberg, Daria Werbowy, and Lily Cole.

In early 2008, Ward was reported to have been seeing actor Heath Ledger after media articles linked the two together at end of 2007 holiday celebrations,[8] shortly before Ledger's untimely death of an accidental drug overdose on January
22.

Ikut posting y..

Irina Lazareanu (born 8 June 1982) is a Canadian model. Romanian-born Lazareanu got her ‘big break’ through her acquaintance with supermodel Kate Moss.
At age 5 Lazareanu emigrated to Canada from Romania, settling into the Montreal suburb of Saint-Hubert, Quebec with her Romanian parents.[2] At the age of 13 she moved to London to study ballet until she was derailed by a broken knee. She met Pete Doherty at the age of 15 and became something of a muse for the musician, whom she later dated briefly and was engaged to.[3]
At age 17 Lazareanu attended an open call and signed with Giovanni modelling agency in Montreal with the hopes that it would help pay rent. From then on she did the usual rounds of London and Paris, occasionally appearing in Barcelona, Australia and Madrid fashion weeks. It wasn't until she was chosen by acquaintance Kate Moss to model for the December/January issue of Vogue: Paris, which she guest edited that Lazareanu received notice by fashionistas.[3] Lazareanu has since become an increasingly popular fashion model, breaking the record for most runway work in one season.[4]

She has modeled for many top designers, including Chanel, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Lanvin, Versace, and many more. She is affiliated with the modeling agencies Marilyn (New York and Paris), Why Not Models (Milan), Select Model Management (London), and Giovanni (Montreal). In March 2007, Lazareanu was chosen by Kate Moss as the model for her new Topshop clothing range.[
Lazareanu is known for her quirky, vintage-inspired style - which has arguably contributed to the rise of her modelling career. When asked about her style, Lazareanu says: "I’m very influenced by the whole 1960s–1970s London era, not only in terms of my clothes but also in terms of the music I listen to, the movies I watch, the writers I read. Those influences probably translates into my personal style in an unconscious way."[6]

Michelle McCool of Cosmopolitan magazine writes that "(Irina) has a great rock'n'roll vibe. It's all about the hair and her flatness. I love that she has no boobs." Lazareanu is often described as having a distinctive look, as Emmanuelle Alt of Vogue Paris adds; "On the runway, no matter what, she cannot be transformed. She always has her unique look and style."[7] As a result of her striking features and rock'n'roll semblance, Lazareanu has developed the status of 'official muse' to designers Nicolas Ghesquière and Karl Lagerfeld, with whom she shot the Chanel Cruise campaign.[6]
Lazareanu met musician Pete Doherty (whom she calls Peter) then a member of the Libertines, at a party in Shepherd's Bush while she was a ballet student. Doherty and Lazareanu bonded over their shared interest in artists such as Oscar Wilde and Nina Simone. Lazareanu became closely involved with Doherty's band Babyshambles and toured with them in 2004, although she has denied the widespread rumor that she served as their drummer.[3]

Lazareanu reportedly helped Pete Doherty write the song "La Belle et la Bête" which featured Kate Moss on the Babyshambles' Down in Albion album.[2]

She is currently recording a folk album, entitled Some Place Along the Way, which musician Sean Lennon is producer and collaborator on. They have recorded a duet called "Strange Places", which has not yet been released, however was previewed on a Fashion TV profile, which aired earlier in 2006. Her album was to be released in late 2006[8] however it has been delayed as a result of her demanding modelling career and is now due to be released in fall 2007.[3] Lazareanu has said that "My music isn't commercial...I just want to learn from people and do the best I can do" and cites Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and Joan Baez as her musical influences.[8]

In February 2007 Lazareanu announced that she will collaborate with Sean Lennon and Pete Doherty on a cover of Bob Dylan's "Girl from the North Country".[9]

In an interview during New York Spring 2008 Fashion Week, Lazareanu announced that she was working on a duet album with Sean Lennon.

In December 2007, during a special presentation for Chanel in London, Lazareanu debuted four songs off her album, which acted as the soundtrack to the show. Sean Lennon accompanied her on guitar.[10]
Lazareanu has twice been briefly engaged to musician Pete Doherty, first for a period in 2004 following the break-up of his band The Libertines[11][12] and then for the second time in October 2007.

Coco Rocha (born September 10, 1988 in Toronto, Ontario) is a professional Canadian Irish dancer turned model.[1] She is best friends with well-known model Behati Prinsloo.
Rocha was born in Toronto, Ontario, but moved to Richmond, British Columbia at a very young age. She is of Irish, Russian, and Welsh descent.[2]

She was discovered at the age of 14 when competing in an Irish dance competition. She went to Dixon Elementary school where she was enrolled in the French immersion program then transferring to Tomekichi Homma Elementary. Later, she went to continue her education in Hugh McRoberts Secondary School. Agent Charles Stuart approached her and asked her if she would consider modeling for him. At that point, she had never thought of modeling before. When she did begin to model, her knowledge of fashion was limited.[2] She eventually gained insight into the fashion world after her best friends crammed in fashion study sessions in between studying for exams.[2]
Rocha met legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel in February 2006. Soon, she was featured in an editorial with Gemma Ward and Amanda Moore. The editorial kickstarted her career, landing her the cover of the February 2006 issue of Italian Vogue. The week after, she walked the Spring/Summer 2006 New York runways for a handful of designers, most notably Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs. Backstage at the Anna Sui show, Rocha met supermodel Naomi Campbell, who held her hands and told her she was "her new favorite model."[3] After the New York Fashion Week, she soon followed by taking part in the Paris Fashion Week as well. She walked for esteemed designers like Stella McCartney, Christian Lacroix, and Emanuel Ungaro, and was chosen by Marc Jacobs to open and close his Louis Vuitton show.

During Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall/Winter 2007 show in February 2007, Rocha famously opened the show by Irish-dancing down the runway, showcasing her talents outside of modeling. This event, along with Hilary Rhoda walking for Balenciaga in 2006, was cited in US Vogue as the indication that "supermodels" have returned.[4]

In the May 2007 issue of US Vogue she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.

In the May 2008 issue of US Vogue she was featured in a spread called Superheroes and Fantasies.

Rocha also appeared on the cover of Numero, W, Vogue Italia, Vogue Korea, and the 2006 TIME Style&Design issue with fellow top model Du Juan.

She works with modeling agencies Charles Stuart Agency (her mother agency), Elite Model Management, Why Not Model Agency, and Marilyn Agency.

• Though much isn't known about the subject, "Coco" is not Ms. Rocha's birth name. In an interview with World Fashion Television, Coco gave further insight about the speculation of her name:

"It was a French endearment "'mon petit coco'". (translated "my little sweetheart")."[5]

• She owns a Maltese-Poodle mixed dog named Peekaboo.[6]

Lily Cole (born May 19, 1988[2]) is an English model and actress.
Cole was born in England, and raised in London with her sister Elvie. A chance encounter began her modeling career when she was fourteen. She was walking through the streets of Soho after a hamburger with friends when scout-turned actor Benjamin Hart approached her. Cole ran, fearing she was being chased by 'some dodgy guy' but after being asked to consider modeling, she accepted and was signed on with Storm Models, the mother agency of supermodels such as Kate Moss.

Cole is a vegetarian[citation needed].
Cole's big break came in 2003 when her long legs, pale skin and fiery red hair caught photographer Steven Meisel's eye. It was on that photoshoot, her first 'only girl' story for Italian Vogue, that Cole was catapulted into the spotlight as one of the leading new faces of the year. Since then, Cole has worked with many other prominent photographers, including Craig McDean, Nick Knight, Juergen Teller, Arthur Elgort, and Irving Penn.

Cole is featured in top fashion magazines such as Vogue (American, Italian, British, Japanese and Korean), Citizen K, and V. She has also appeared on the cover of Numero and twice for British Vogue. In November 2004, the British Fashion Awards named her 'Model of the Year'. Additionally, Cole has appeared in advertising campaigns for designers such as Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Hermès, Longchamp, Cacharel, Topshop, and Anna Sui Cosmetics, as well as being the face for Moschino's perfume 'I Love Love.'

She is a common sight on the catwalks of the international runway circuit and has walked many top shows- Chanel, DKNY, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, and Louis Vuitton, to name a few. People who worked with her say she is warm and friendly in person[citation needed].

Cole is part of the group of supermodels who have "doll-like" or "elfin" features[citation needed] along with Heather Marks, Gemma Ward, and Devon Aoki. She is also one of the few red-headed models with very successful careers,[citation needed] others being Cintia Dicker, Jessica Stam (who currently sports blond hair), Karen Elson, and Alice Burdeu.

Cole was announced as the follow up model for Accessorize, taking the place of model Claudia Schiffer. Cole also designed a line of handbags for the collection. She also appears in the video for Girls Aloud and Sugababes' cover of "Walk This Way" in aid of comic relief.

Most recently British Fashion Awards nominated Cole for 'Model of the Year' for the second time, but the award was given to Agyness Deyn.

Cole was on the Sunday Times Rich List in 2007 with an estimated net worth of £6 million. She ranked 83rd richest young person in Britain.

She is now one of the models in the Marks and Spencer clothes advertising campaign, becoming the youngest model to ever do a campaign for the line.
In February 2006, Indiewire.com broke the news that Marilyn Manson planned to star Cole in his upcoming movie Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll as Alice. Shorts from the movie have been featured on his website and a feature length film is also planned.

In April 2007, it was announced that she would play the role of Polly in the new St. Trinian's film, alongside Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Jodie Whittaker and Stephen Fry.[3]

Cole was signed to play the role of Valentina in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, directed by Terry Gilliam and scripted by Gilliam and his regular writing partner Charles McKeown. Co-stars included Christopher Plummer, Heath Ledger, Tom Waits, and Verne Troyer. The film was due out in 2009, but after Ledger's death, production was postponed.

Cole is an Ambassador for Global Angels Children's Charity that helps unfortunate children around the world. The organisation uses celebrity concerts, powerful documentaries, and partnerships within the business world, that will increase a vast resource of professionals, volunteers, and financial support. Cole also supports the organisation WaterAid which use practical solutions to provide safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people and the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) a UK based NGO working internationally whose objective is to ‘Protect People and Planet’ by resolving environmental destruction and associated abuses of basic human rights . Most recently Cole has put a plaster cast bust of her torso on the auction site eBay to raise money for Comic Relief, an organisation that uses comedy to raise money for charities. Cole has modelled a T-shirt with the slogan "Save the Future" to fight child labour in the fashion industry for the Environmental Justice Foundation.
Despite her successful modelling career, Cole retains a commitment to her education, achieving As in her A-level examinations in English, politics, drama, history and philosophy and ethics at Latymer Upper School, Hammersmith where she was awarded the Mikdadi Prize for Politics in 2006. Before that she attended The St Marylebone Secondary School. She gained a place to read Social and Political Sciences at King's College, Cambridge, but deferred entry until 2007[4] and then 2008
Cole is an ally for Western Shoshone an environmental organization. They specialize in the ongoing struggle to halt gold and diamond mining, which displaces indigenous peoples worldwide and creates excessive amounts of mining waste and toxins. For this reason Cole declined to be in any further De Beers jewellery campaigns, along with models Iman and Erin O'Connor, activist Gloria Steinem, and actress Julie Christie. Recently, however, she has been on the cover of and featured in a spread of a magazine whose issue was entitled 'Lily'. In it, she is only wearing diamonds.

She has been seen wearing the £5 eco friendly Anya Hindmarch handbag with the slogan "I'm Not A Plastic Bag."

She wrote the foreword for Tamsin Blanchard's book Green Is The New Black. She also attended the primary school, Hallfield School. (Bayswater,London)
