GONG YOO & LEE MIN JUNG OFFICIALLY CAST IN “BIG”



Almost every Mind Bridge update I have on Lee Min Jung and Gong Yoo includes this one wish: Put them in a project together! And guess what? Dreams really do come true.

The lead roles were offered to them a couple of months ago, but the two are finally joining the Hong sisters’ Big. The new serving of funny, which is about an 18-year-old boy who’s suddenly transformed into a 30-year-old, appears to be inspired by the 80s flick starring Tom Hanks.

I enjoy the serious route that Gong Yoo has taken on recently in his project choices, but having him slide back into comedy with none other than Lee Min Jung and the Hong sisters could surely draw a viewership wonder. I’m looking forward to the famous Hong sisters spin on this fantasy-romance and the comedic gag they have lined up for Gong Yoo!

Miss A’s Suzy is still apparently considering a role in the drama, as the love interest of Gong Yoo’s 18-year-old version; however, AsianWiki already has her listed as a cast member.

Big will be airing on KBS in June, assuming Love Rain‘s time slot.
