13/05/2013: Zhao Wei dalam festival Cina - The 3rd Perancis



Pada hari ke 13, upacara pembukaan festival film Cina-Perancis diadakan di Paris, Prancis. Peran aktris Zhao Wei direktur Cina yang terkenal di film "So Young" menyerbu di bioskop lokal. Aktor terkenal Perancis  Vincent Perez muncul pada upacara dalam peran tamu, bersama-sama memotong pita pembukaan festival. Selama festival, 11 film Cina produksi baru baik akan diperkenalkan kepada publik Perancis.

Did Chen Kun and Vicki Zhao fall out with each other?



The close friendship between the two Chinese stars is speculated to have turned sour because of fellow actress Zhou Xun

Following a series of suggestive microblog posts from Chen Kun and his absence of support for Vicki Zhao’s directorial debut Our Eventually Lost Youth which premiered last month, many netizens believe that the old-time friends have fallen out with each other.

The two Chinese stars have been friends since their school days and Vicki reportedly chose to date Chen Kun rather than heartthrob Huang Xiao Ming when they were in university. Their close relationship is also shown by Chen Kun’s status as the godfather of Vicki’s three-year-old daughter.

Throughout Vicki’s movie promotional period last month, Chen Kun, unlike many of her other celebrity friends who lent their support by singing praises of the film on their microblogs, did not mention a word about the movie.

Sources also revealed that Chen Kun and Vicki’s relationship started to sour after the actress filmed Painted Skin: The Resurrection in 2011. The two leading co-stars, Vicki and Zhou Xun, were rumoured to be on bad terms at that time, and Chen Kun was caught in the middle as he was good friends with the both of them. Nevertheless, the actor was said to have gotten closer to Zhou Xun after that, causing his friendship with Vicki to take a backseat.

In addition, Chen Kun incited much online buzz with his microblog post on May 10 when he wrote: “Most of the times, we talk about ‘being used’ as a negative thing. But sometimes we should thank the people who manipulate us instead, as it proves that we are valuable.”

On the following day, he followed up with another post and wrote: “A gentleman believes that everyone is entitled to their own views and that he respects the other person’s thinking even when opinions differ.”

“He lends a hand when he sees a friend in danger, he keeps a distance and does not force ideas onto the other party; he does not make use of others and he does not discuss another person’s feelings with others during conversations.”

As both posts speak on “friendship”, netizens are convinced that the two, who have not shown any interaction in public recently, are at odds with each other. 

In response to the claims, his manager emphasised that the two long-time friends share an amicable relationship both at work and in their private lives. He also clarified the rumours regarding the actor’s lack of support for Vicki’s self-directed movie by explaining that Chen Kun did call her to show concern and that he personally bought tickets to catch the film.

“There is no need to share all personal affairs on the microblog,” he added.
