Thank you = Grazie. It is similar with Spanish 'Gracias'. Each Grazie and Gracias is plural of a feminin word 'grazia' and 'gracia'. Both are derived from Latin 'gratia' means 'grace', 'mercy' in English.

Yes it is. Italian, spanish and french are sister languages so they divide their nouns into 2 genders: masculine and feminine.
For examples:
terra (earth in italian and also spanish tierra is feminine) = terre (earth in french is feminine too).
occhio (eye in italian) = ojo (eye in spanish) = oeil (eye in french) are masculine, derived from latin 'oculus' (eye)

Most of all, especially those whose same Latin root. For examples : terra = terre, stella = étoile, scuola = école, bocca = bouche, testa = te^te, mano = main (all feminine), meanwhile cielo = ciel, capello = cheveu, naso = nez, amico = ami, amore = amour (all masculine)

Frase 'tesoro mio' itu variasi dari 'il mio tesoro' (= my treasure), yg bentuk latinnya 'thesaurus meus' (tesoro dan thesaurus adalah maskulin, maka harus dipasangi posesive pronoun mio / meus. Jika kata bendanya feminin (misal: casa = house) posesive pronounnya hrs mia (casa mia / la mia casa = my house).
Kata 'tesoro mio' agaknya lbh klasik krn msh menggunakan Latin pattern drpd 'il mio tesoro' yg memakai germanic pattern.
Tentang spelling huruf c, jika ca, cu, co dibaca k (ka, ku, ko). Jika ci, ce dibaca seperti c bhs indo atw ch english (chi, che). Utk chi, che dibaca seperti k (ki, ke).
Hal yg sama tjd utk spelling huruf g. Jika ga, gu, go, ghi dan ghe dibaca g (ga, gu, go, gi, ge), tetapi gi dan ge dibaca j (ji, je)
Jadi kata caro/ cara dibaca 'karo/ kara'

Caro (bhs frenchnya: cher) artinya: mahal, sayang. Bentuk femininnya : cara (french: chère). Caro dan cher sama2 diturunkan dr kata Latin carus
(yg kata bendanya : caritas = english: charity)
Frase 'hi, how are you?' bhs italianonya:
'ciao, come stài?' (akrab)
'ciao, come stà?' (formal)
'ciao, come state?' (jamak)
