Reaching 16 is a milestone,
a happy point in life.
You've set your personality
and your tolerance for strife.

By now you know right from wrong
and how to influence friends.
It’s time to look down the road
at forks and around the bends.

The road ahead is wonderful,
some choices will be clear.
Your path depends on bravery
to push aside the fear.

When you chose this way or that,
slow choices or if snappy,
make the choices best for you,
the ones that make you happy.

On the land of truthful dreams
shaded by an almond tree
an aura about him;
sent scents of enchantment
and fondly through the air
they proceeded the foot steps,
to tell about incoming blossom.
Shy smile was brought to her face,
and chaos of sensations was
their speakable language.
Alphabets were melted,
by flame of the cheeks.
The leaping pulse of hers,
was hammering hard
leaving phrase shattered behind,
and beyond ages of desertion;
the dry buds were moistened
by warmth of the breaths.
Sky of never-ending rainbow
was the limit of that purity,
and via his evergreen camellias
their symphony was strummed,
to color every moment
and lock her possessively,
in the mystery of his magic.

I see the moon so bright
The full moon
I just remember about you
I'm sitting here in my room
Just to see the moonlight

In my mind
You are beside me
I'm relying on your shoulder
Then you embrace me
And kiss my forehead
With full of love

I love u
And i miss u so
Hmmm....
The moon so bright, darling...

Colourless Green Ideas Sleep Furiously
By midorima  :D :D

Dear, Mr. Chomsky

I would like to inform you,
That the sentence you chose to be
An example of a complete nonsense,
is actually not a nonsense at all.

I could tell myself and you completely,
That there are actually colourless green ideas that sleep furiously.

The ideas visited me a few days a go.
In front of my eyes, they are green,
Though in front of others, they appear colourless.

I could tell you that they truly sleep beside me,
And they do sleep furiously,
The only logical explanation that I can tell thee,
Is that the ideas are the ideas of being me.

Nevertheless, Mr. Chomsky,
I don't expect you to clarify your previous theory,
Your theory has already been accepted by all other people beside me,
And that explains why the only nonsense is me.

From the bottom of my greenity I really hoped that you would like,
to come back to linguistics world and resolve this odd phenomenon.
But my colourless ideas respect your decision,
to move to a world more political-like.

And this doesn't lessen my respect to you,
I am just trying to inform you.

Wish you could be happy with anything you choose
Either colourless or green,
Either furious or sleepin'

Regards

The Ode of December
by: Rima Muryantina

The second Sunday belongs to my childhood hero,
With a speed of light, he strikes the striking goal,
Leaving the keeper with a woe.

10 years it has been, me admiring him,
Fluctuated his life, it seems,
And indeed he understands that life isn't just kicking a ball.

And when many people come and go,
I just can't replace his title as a hero,
For he lives to score goals,
And he helped me once to score my goals.

The next day belongs to the winter bear,
I've told you million times about her tale,
For really she sleeps rare,
And she against the world with hail.

Sometimes I'm bothered by her bear attitude,
And sometimes she could be so uncute,
But it doesn't really bother me,
When I realize that her fantasy feels more stronger to me,
Than the hazy reality.

So there they are,
Two December Keepers,
The one is near and the other is far,
I'll let them blow the candles.

*sneaks in and posts*

If I open the drawers of my mind, I can find something in the corner.
It's a pile of memories, shining gold by time.
Joy and laughter fused and blended, and the tears that had been mixed in colored it in a beautiful sepia...

a short poem... ^^

I posted yet another poem~ but this one's kinda old (I made it in 2007) and I posted it at my DeviantArt account...

Being hugged by the pain I went through,
The warmness of my tears kicks in.
It all sounds like it’s going to end up here, though,
The thoughts I think of were always deceiving,
And the sounds I heard were always contradicting.

So why would I stand here?
I asked myself, but the answer just wouldn’t show up.
So why would I fight here?
I asked my mind, but it just won’t budge.
So why would I die here?
I asked my heart, and it screamed that I’ll survive.

What would a sight for, when it can’t do anything?
What would a sense for, if it can’t do any healing?
What would a touch for, when it can’t even be soothing?
What would a sound for, if it can’t change not even a thing?

And here I thought of those things,
Clinging to my past, regretting the mistakes I’ve been doing up until the time passed away long.
Here I stand when I want to think,
And so you proved me that I’m wrong.

Being hugged by the sweet scent of yours,
The smiles of sky caress me.
And so it end up just when yesterday goes.
I turned around when it boils the curiosity in me.

And there you are...
Smiling at me.

Reaching out your hands,
I settled for a hug.

After all,
The battle won’t matter.

And so the three precious words shine,
Gleaming under the sky, the words escape our lips
Floating in the ether...

‘I love you...’

I think it's kinda cheesy. Please tell me what you think? =)

to be honest, sora... I think it IS kinda cheesy  ;D ;D
however, I love this part:

Quote

What would a touch for, when it can’t even be soothing?
What would a sound for, if it can’t change not even a thing?

I love repetitions in poems, and you've done it nicely  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
btw, I wonder for whom did you dedicate this poem to?  ^-^
