Schumacher turned down Ferrari offer
Ferrari CEO Jean Todt says that seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher turned down an offer to replace him as boss of the Formula One team.
Todt moved on from his role as sporting director at the Maranello team at the end of last season to make way for Stefano Domenicali - with the team having held lengthy talks with former technical director Ross Brawn throughout last season.
Speaking in an interview with German publication Auto Motor Und Sport, Todt claims that his ideal replacement was the team's most successful driver.
"He would have been the best candidate for this job, but he did not want it," said Todt about Schumacher.
Speaking about why in the end the team did not reach agreement with Brawn, Todt said: "Ross is a very good man. His successes with Ferrari speak for themselves.
"We spoke with each other for a long time - about what was best for Ferrari and what was best for him. But it was better for both parties, on a long-term basis, that he went to Honda and we occupied the team boss position internally.
"Ross is now a competitor, but he will remain a friend of Ferrari and myself."
Todt has said he intends to visit a few races next year, although he has not yet finalised exactly how much involvement he will have.
"In the last 15 years I dreamed of being able to watch a grand prix on television in peace," he explained. "But no matter whether I am at the track or not, for me a grand prix will always be stressful. That will only change if I do not work no more for Ferrari."
It would have been nice keeping it in the family. No Brawn no Schumacher hope we are alright in a few years.

gw masih keingetan, dulu ada fans Kimi yang dengan sangat yakin dan PD bilang Ferrari tendang Michael untuk Kimi dan Michael nuntut posisi team boss sebagai gantinya dan ditolak oleh Luca Di montezemolo...whoaaa....gossip darimana tuh..ambil dari gossip gokil kale deh tu orang slap on their face deh buat yang ngomong itu  Dari jauh2 hari Michael udah bilang, untuk jangka pendek, dia belom berani jadi team director, team boss ato apapun yang berhubungan dengan management sebuah team. Michael itu tipe orang yang hati2..jadi kalo dia ga yakin, dia ga bakal ngelakuin daripada ngaco. Memang bukan tidak mungkin suatu hari dia jadi team director ato manager team. tapi itu saat dia sudah belajar banyak..dan jadi pemilik racing gokart mungkin arena belajar. kalo dia sanggup, go ahead, kalo nggak ya mending berkebun di rumah aja  gw bahkan berharap Schumi berhenti jadi advisornya Ferrari. toh Ferrari sudah bisa jadi WDC kan..berarti Schumi ga diperlukan lagi. Biarin Schu jadi retirement yang netral..ga pro Ferrari lagi.. |

Panaji, Jan 3 The internationally acclaimed Formula One Race driver Michael Schumacher will be the brand ambassador of Bacardi Martini India Ltd (BMIL) promoting responsible driving.
The BMIL marketing manager, Mr Gautam Gangoli who was recently in Goa to celebrate Bacardi B-Live, a cutting-edge party format synonymous with the well-known premium sprit brand, and held in North Goa said, “it’s our way of kick-starting celebrations for the new year while partying with India’s most accomplished musical talent.” And we are also sending our message to party responsibly, besides not encouraging individuals below the legal drinking age to try our products, he added.
Speaking to ‘The Navhind Times’, Mr Gangoli said that the BMIL, will also introduce the Eristoff premium vodka in Goa along with the rest of the country in April 2008. “It has already been launched in Bangalore and the product is blended and bottled at Nanjangud in Mysore,” he informed, adding “Eristoff premium vodka is pure with a clean taste with no aftertaste.”
Mr Gangoli further revealed that Bacardi is set to acquire 42 Below, a leading New Zealand-based spirits company, hoping that it will add another global brand to the liquor firm’s burgeoning premium offerings.
Bacardi is a privately held company, producing and marketing a variety of premium, global spirit brands. The company has over 250 brands and labels, including Bacardi rums, Martini and Rossi vermouths, Dewars blended scotch whiskeys, Grey Goose vodka, Bombay Sapphire gin, Eristoff Premium Vodka and Cazadores Blue Agave tequila.
Mr Gangoli maintaining that mixability, vibrancy and free spirited nature are specialities of the Bacardi, pointed out “television commercials, big events and active marketing are being adopted by the company for introducing its products.”
“Out products are priced to an extent so as to make them affordable to the consumers, but will not go below a certain price level,” Mr Gangoli maintained. He also stated that the company will be looking aggressively to go to smaller markets. Abah tetep sibuk tuh |

You know buddy the one who really need to be bashed is you your-self. Lu bener kalu gw yang bilang Michael yg dtendang sama Kimi melalui Luca, dan gw bilang officially dr Ferrari bilang Mikey emang mo pension aja. Oke, gw ga mempersalahkan ini BUT you really needs ur brain up and to remind I have never told that Mikey wants to be a teamboss whole my words. YANG gw bilang maksa mau jadi teamboss tuh si Brawn, keep in mind it was Ross Brawn whom I said several times ago. Waktu itu gw bilang si Brawn sengaja ngambek dengan istirahat setaun karna permintaannya u diangkat jd TB ga direalisasikan si Luca. Hey babe, watch your words. Thanks uda FITNAH gw, mudah2an amal dan ibadah lu diterima TYME. |

Berita diatas SEMBARI PROMO GP INDIA..........  asal ga dibikin malem.. gw cukup konsisten against balapan malem..tapi ga jelas juga sih penerangannya seterang apa. asal tau aja, beberapa pembalap tu sebenernya pake kacamata minus...contohnya ralf (eh dia udah ga membalap yah )...trus sape lagi yaa..lupa gw. ga kebayang kalo nabrak2 gara2 kurang jelas .. tapi mungkin (n hopefully) gw salah..maksudnya balapan di Singapore besok terangnya sama kayak kalo kita nonton bola |
