thor ini adalah dewa petirnya viking, legendanya bs dibaca di wikipedia.
yg di versi marvel, thor diceritain dibuang ke bumi krn nglawan perintah dan bikin malu odin.
di bumi ini kekuatannya *kl ga salah* sbg dewa dicabut dan dia cm bs dptin lagi kl megang palunya.

Marvel Animation Unveils Thor: Tales of Asgard

To tie in with the big-screen Thor hitting on May 6th, Marvel Animation has announced an animated film coming directly to DVD and Blu-ray on May 17th. IGN has the details and a first look at the set's cover art, pictured below.

First previewed over a year ago, Tales of Asgard will tell the story of Thor's earliest years and his first adventure with his brother, Loki and the Warriors Three.

Special features on the set will include two audio commentaries (one with Supervising Producer Craig Kyle and Screenwriter Greg Johnson, and a second with Supervising Director Gary Hartle, Animation Director Sam Liu and Character Designer Phil Bourassa), a featurette entitled "Worthy: The Making of Thor: Tales of Asgard" and an episode of "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes."

Thor World Premier to be Held in Sydney

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that the world premiere for Thor will take place in star Chris Hemsworth's home country Australia on Sunday, April 17. The press release:

The World Premiere of the highly anticipated Marvel Studios film THOR will take place on Sunday April 17 at Event Cinemas George Street, Sydney. Walking the red carpet will be the film’s director Kenneth Branagh and Australian Chris Hemsworth in the title role of Thor, ‘The God of Thunder’ as well as Kat Dennings who stars as Darcy, Tom Hiddleston in the role of Thor’s brother Loki and Jaimie Alexander who plays Sif. The World Premiere will kick off a two-day promotional tour covering Sydney and Chris’ hometown of Melbourne.

Australian audiences will be the first in the world to experience THOR, four days after the World Premiere when it opens in cinemas on April 21.

THOR SYNOPSIS

An epic adventure spanning the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard, about a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. The warrior, Thor, is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans where he learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of the world, Loki, sends Asgard’s darkest forces to invade the Earth.

THOR opens in Australian cinemas on April 21 in 3D.

Natalie Portman is expecting her first child in June and will likely keep travel to a minimum.
