ini komentar Hami tentang race Shanghai
"It was a very tough race," Tewin's Hamilton confirmed. "The visibility, particularly at the start of the race, was really terrible - you could hardly see anything. "It's a pity that I had a couple of spins. I love driving in the rain but I definitely didn't drive as well as I could have done on Sunday. Afterwards, people were congratulating me on a good performance, but overall I was a bit dissatisfied with my race."
Hamilton walks the Shanghai circuit with his team
Although Hamilton - now in his third season of Formula One - felt that he could have reached the podium in Shanghai, sixth place brought him three points to add to his one, for which he particularly thanked his team for. "There were a 100 people working in the pouring rain to help Heikki and I," he continued. "Back at McLaren in Woking and Mercedes in Brixworth there are 1000 people all working hard to get new parts ready for the car; they are all doing their very best and I felt I could have done better for them, that's all."
Thursday of last week featured the news that former team principal Ron Dennis would be focusing his attention away from the team's F1 project to concentrate on their road car division. Dennis, with the team since 1980, was the greatest influence on Hamilton's career as he signed 13-year-old protégé Lewis in 1997.
"Ron is an incredible man and we all owe him more than we could ever repay him for building this great team," Hamilton made clear. "Both my family and I are going to do our best to continue the progress we have made over the past two seasons with the team, and hope that we can continue to make him proud of having invested in me. I was 12 when I first met Ron and, without his vision, I would not be here."
